what u guys think? Subaru Imprezza WRX vs. 3rd Gen rx7, both stock?

my bet is that wrx would beat rx7 off line(due to 4wd), but rx7 catch up? - more streamlined, not as heavy?

 

i would go with rx-7 in quarter mile.

 

stock vs stock, hell even "slightly" modded the rx7 would win, and thats a fact. i think even in the turns, with a skilled driver the rx7 would win.

 

The WRX isn't as fast as everyone makes it out to be. If it was as fast as some people think then it wouldn't be so cheap.

 

With equal drivers, the RX-7 will most certainly beat the WRX "in the turns".



With the 280 hp STI, the margin will be smaller, but the RX-7 will still claim victory.

 

WRX first 60 feet maybe even first 1/8th mile but then FD all the way!

 

hmmm....how about Fd vs. Mitsi Evo VII?

 

The 7 will eat its lunch my 2nd gear.....assuming a decent driver and some decent tires. If the wrx is automatic he might as well hang it up.

well my TII keeps up with my friends WRX (he just has exhaust and cold air intake right now) and I have ehaust, turbo leak, shitty tires and a loud clunking sound when I shiftgears) (maybe driveshaftor rear rubber boot) so I think the FD would win. Ill have to have my freinds FD to run against his and ill post pics and results. My freind has had his FD only for about 2 months so he doesnt wanna push it yet. (*****)

 

I raced my friend with a WRX...1st and 2nd gear were his...especially since I launched HORRIBLY...then 3rd gear came and I dusted him...BAD...like taking candy from a baby...



But neither of us are stock
