found this site while i was trying to compare an rx-7 to my friends type-r:

http://www.car-videos.com/performance/view...ID1=198&ID2=109

if you go directly there it's comparing an rx-7 to a stealth TT.

It gives the 0-?? numbers from 30 to 100, the 100ft and 500ft times, 1/4 mile times and trap speed, and highest calculated top speed.

Best of all it gives 2 values, on for a hard launch and one for a soft launch, so it's easy to average them.

The 3rd gen RX-7 does a good job of ripping most cars listed, they also have a 2nd gen turbo, and i believe a 1st gen rx7, but i dont recall right now.

hope this helps some of you hunt for kills .

night,

kevin

yea they're all at stock form, but it at least gives you a nice base to start at rather then "well i think those cars can do 12s stock" or whatever. So now when you bust on those 97 M3's you can just smile and say "hey my car can beat yours even when it's stock"

when i get my rx-7 (hopefully make a deposit saturday) i plan to smoke a 17yr old ho drives a 95, i believe, Supra TT. True his car is faster, however he hasn;t got a clue how to drive stick/manual and has lost to 5.0's before. He's and embarassment to his car. I;m working on finding a way to mount my ATV helmet cam to a car and make it work properly, should provide hot video of me stomping a supra

I'm getting a 3rd gen, '93 to be exact. It's the touring model, red with tan interior. The place i'm buying from has 3 3rd gens, all 93's, for sale and this is the most "project-able" one the rest have big stuff done, one that is selling for $18,500 has a GReddy single turbo conversion on it.

I'm absolutely dying to get the steering wheel into my hands

kevin.
