This weekend was pretty fun after the rain finally stopped. On Sunday I got together with some guys and went for a drive. We had like 3 c5's, a viper gts, and an m3. We drove upstate NY through 7 Lakes Drive. It was a beautiful day and it was very scenic. After cruising around for a while we played around on the highway. I walked two of the vettes. The third was heavily modded and was making close to 500 at the wheels. It would have been an interesting race but he had his girlfriend with him and couldn't go too fast. Later on I ran the viper. This is the same one I beat last time. We went from about 40 pm to 130 or so. 2nd and 3rd gear we were pretty close, as I lost time on my slow shift to 3rd, but once I hit 4th I started pulling. I wish we could have kept going but I slowed down because he had cars in his lane. Later that night I was at the local car hang out. I ran this old ghetto fox body stand. We had 2 big cars sticking ouot of the hood and I think he said he had a 460 or something in it. The funniest thing was he had altezza lights. I got the holeshot on him and easily put 15+ cars on him while he sat and span. We said he wanted to go again next time. On the way home I ran into an 03 supercharged cobra. We ran twice from a 3rd gear roll. Both time I cleanly pulled away from it and backed off once I had about 3 cars. We talked at the light a bit. He wasn't even sure what my car was and I had to tell him. He had a pulley and exhaust. We launched from the light and I ate him pretty bad. I could hear his superhcarging whining like an electric blender behind me. Sounded pretty horrible. Anyway, I got home late and was exhausted. Was a fun weekend. I'll post pics of the cruise later tonight.
