Simple Deduction states this:



I have an 80mm 300zx Air Flow Meter

That means my intake pipe is 80mm

You see the reducer before the Inlet on the Turbo?



That means its smaller than 80mm... so it's definitely not a T04S.

In a 1/4 race how close do you think the skyline would be a lil closer or take you or would

you win by a nose? from the vid it looks pretty close you took him by like a car length.

in the 1/4 I would eat him... did you see the jump he got on me off the line with his 4 wheel drive.. I had to come back on him several car lengths to beat him in 150meters and I was moving a lot faster than him when I passed him... I'd probably gain anouther 5 car lengths or more if we went the extra 250 meters... He has the power, but he weighs too much..



Ie. FD3S = 1,298 kgs

GT-R = 1,800 kgs or so



I estimate my car at 500 hp to the wheels

that GT-R is supposed to have 650+ to the wheels



1kg = 2.2 lbs, do the hp to weight ratio math.. he's only got a traction advantage off the line.. after that it's all Hp/weight and how well you can shift you pos transmission.. :bigok:

As a die hard Nissan fan.... I must say He definitely would stomp that GT-R in a longer race. The GT-R was running smaller turbos... unlike us with bigger ones. Third gear on a T4 is a whole different ball game. That GT-R would continue running like that, but both of our cars would open up and start pulling hard.



Four Wheel Drive is what got that GT-R to where it is.

my 240 is fine. waiting on parts. the intercooler is coming. clutch is on the way. sending out my ecu soon. the black 240 has no dings/scratches. paint on front and rear bumpers is a bit faded...

I helped him for about a minute while rebuilding the engine. I put in the eccentric shaft while he did all the work.

$400...WTF?...that's EXPENSIVE for a 13B-rew rebuild. They normally cost $260 to rebuild, but the atkins seals cost $240 with shipping... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif...which means that the TOTAL cost minus atkins seals for that engine is a whopping $160...which is mainly the o-ring kit from an FC.

thats all u need? I thought the kit was much more than that, looks like i should rebuild my own motor...

The 13BRew kit is expensive.. the FC O-Ring kit for $80 has all the seals you need to overhaul the engine.. then all you need is all the springs (I usually always use new springs because heat makes spring steel loose it's ablility to be springy) usually you can reuse side seals and coner seals if they are within spec as they wear very little... On the engine I just built I also added size 200 jets in to the E-Shaft and took out the little springs and metal ball.. This is supposed to jet more oil on to the rotors to keep them cooler to prevent hot spots etc.. The cooler you keep the rotor the less chance there is to predetonate.. Anouther thing that helps is buying blown engines for $100 or less a pop and tearing them down for spare parts.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif
