I saw him coming up on me through traffic trying to get to me. He was at my rear bumper rolling up to a red light and it turned green. I was rolling at about 20 mph. I heard him punch it and I started to punch it too. Something told me to hold up and let him get next to me. I did.

Usually I would floor it and destroy the other car. This time I just pushed down the throttle easy keeping pace with him. As I got to 5k in second I punched it hard and jumped in front of him. Then let off again and let him catch up. Then right as he got to my door I punched it again and pulled away about 6 cars very quickly. Then I just shut it down.

He stayed really far back after that one.

I felt like a cat playing with a mouse. Fun stuff.

I have never seen cars on the street run the Q-miles times that those proffessonial drivers put out on magazines. And the z28 i raced was had the basic bolt ons and it was an auto so i don't he couldn't drive.

My coworker has an ls1 firebird formula, auto. Just the other day we went out to play with the new gtech pro beta testing... 13.3 @ 110mph with trans slipping, street tires, cold out. the trans is goin out big time, too much spray. this run was without spray, the car is basically stock, shitty street tires, did a 2nd gear burnout before the run. Thats two people in the car full tank etc.

add a 150 shot and it runs 12's easy, and has, thats why the trans is slipping now

I hate the car, but gotta admit it is quite fast in a straight line.
