1 Fast SiR didn't even flame me for saying that, what gives you the right? In all seriousness, can't we all get along?

under 5600 RPM the motor is running off a mild intake cam when hit above 5600 a vtec sienoid activates another more aggressive cam(exaust cam)

you either dont know how to explain things or dont know anything.

you cant just activate "another cam"

the electronics make it so the valves "run off of" a cam lobe with higher lift and longer duration, not a whole cam.

oh and dont try to teach rotorheads about vtec, rotary engines were the first dynamic variable engines (thats what a vtec engine is, it has a changing variable, the lift and duration of it's cam(s)). that of course being the 6-porters.

Lets try and keep it more civil please.

If I were to launch at 3200 I would come out booging here is and example a a 5k launch

okay and here are the differences:

1. he is turbo you arn't. this requires him to launch at a higher RPM (especially if a big turbo) and i'm sure his setup can handle the launch, and i seriously doubt you are running anything close to the suspension tunning and drivetrain power he is. i personally use the sidestep method of shifting which is where you control wheelspin through the throttle not the clutch. using the clutch to control wheelspin is for newbs who can't control their car.

2. he is using slicks. this mean that his **** is going to hookup. on your street tires you will roast them even when running NA. street tires are not made to have their walls give to support the tourqe their walls are stiff to support tight turns, thus requiring a much lower launch RPM.

if you don't believe me go to the track and try and run it you way and mine. i bet you'll be shocked. also i have much expeirience with FWD, so i'm not looking at your situation from a RWD perspective. either way the goal is the same.
