T2 Versus Gs-t And 300zx

Well, besides getting arrested at the end of the night for "reckless driving" and "laying drag" for making a u-turn and spinning my tires for a milisecond...last night was really fun..
There was this black Eclipse with the Supra style stock spoiler, and it had the Porsche "turbo emblem in place of the word "Eclipse"
You could hear the Greddy BOV on this thing, and it sounded sweet. The car itself had a nice deep tone and looked really good. The kid had a Greddy Profec B mounted right up on his dash and a buncha pod gauges.
Basically, we got the point where we were complimenting each other's cars and at one point he was 1 car ahead of me in high 2nd gear and he punches it, half a second later I punch it like "wtf" and he pulled on me. I'm like "Umm..that wasn't right." so I got a chance to get RIGHT next to him in high 2nd. We both go at the same time and by 6,000RPM+ I was pulling half a car on him and as soon as I shifted into 3rd I was a full car ahead. I nailed the brakes just because going 90mph in a 45mph cop zone wasn't smart.
Next kill. Modded 300ZX TT. This thing looked awesome. It was also black, had the stock Supra-looking spoiler, body kit, some rims, shiny dual exhaust, and it sounded pretty noice. I got next to him at a red light and asked him "Hey man, that Z is beautiful. Do you have upgraded turbo's or anything?" he's like "Yeah, upgraded turbos" and something else..I forget.. The thing looked sick as hell, and I was like "Damn...that thing's got even more high end than me probably, AND it has torque..which I don't. He asked me what I have done and I'm like "T4 turbo at about 10psi on a POS manual boost controller, this thing has NO torque though. I'm talkin, no power until like 5 grand." we laughed and I asked him if we could go from a 2nd gear roll. He was cool with it. We go down, make the U to circle around and I was only at about 3,500RPM in 2nd gear and he sounded like he coulda still been in first..we were only at like 25mph, trying to keep far away from the upcoming traffic. Basically he nailed my *** by like 2 cars. By the time I hit 50 I slowed down, he slowed down and I was like "Hey man, I'm tellin you, NO torque! Can we try again from a little faster?" He was like "Yeah sure." and this time I was at 5,000RPM. We both take off and we were dead even, when I shifted into 3rd at about 7,500RPM I pulled half a car on him and stayed there till like 90mph, then I let off and that was that. LoL... I HATE HAVING NO TORQUE!!
Anyways, I pulled over later on and I was adjusting my air filter.. POP. The ******* thing pops right off the compressor housing. I was like "Well, this would explain my low boost and boost leaking. That sucked.
You see I normally get 10psi in 1st and 2nd gear, and in 3rd, 4th, and 5th I get a fll 12psi. That night I was only getting 7-8psi in 1st and 2nd, and only 10psi even in 3rd.
Car was runnin' like ****, and I think my clutch is starting to slip. *sigh*
Nonetheless, FUN NIGHT!! Besides 15 hours of jail...

It wasn't a stock Z. Upgraded turbo's. And it was pretty damn fast. I'm damn near 300hp and for the weight, he musta been close to 400hp just to keep with me like that. Yes, stock Z's aren't **** to me, but this one was pretty damn quick.

I'm still pretty new so I don't know if i should post this. Half a car length from a 2nd gear roll (after a couple of attempts) doesn't sound like a kill but a convinient outcome based on the law of averages.
I've read your other kills, so, get your clutch replaced and post a substansial kill.

And a "convenient outcome", out of what "attempts"? Them starting with a car lead and no signal as to WHEN to go, and that's an attempt on my part?

I'm sorry for being so presumptuous as to skip the spell check for the convenience of idiots. Quoting misspellings is the oldest, lamest, and easily the pettiest of things to do on the internet.
To error is human, only a robot could not understand or empathies with that. Said robot would then explode as its logic circuits overload due to not being able to comprehend how a win is a win and a kill is a kill if no parameters were set prior to the race other than the person posting won simply because he posted it as a kill.

P.S. But seriously, get that clutch fixed. I can think of nothing more annoying that slowly goes out on a car than the clutch.

I think it was just my imagination that night...or maybe the boots I was wearing.
It's driving fine, no slipping or anything.. *shrugs*
If I were to upgrade anything it'd be my "boost controller". I need an electronic one so I can push 12psi in 1st-2nd and 14psi in 3rd-5th. Right now I only get 8psi in 1st, 10 in 2nd, 12 leaking down to 10, then just 12 in 4th gear. It's annoying.
