I just found this amusing...
OK I am at work talking to this guy who is in his late 40's about his stang.. well eventually he leaves. The next guy in line comes up and is like so you like mustangs huh? "Yeah.. I love beating those damn imports" he replys "So do I only I love beating mustangs and camaros" So I ask him what he has "99 Civic EX 5 spd Zex 55hp N20 shot Greddy exhaust and a header" well he kept talking **** about mustangs and camaros. So I told him I get off work in 5 minutes and to wait for me. He asked me what I had I told him just an old 89 Mustang. Well he actually waited. We go outside and we get in our cars turn around in the denny's lot then slow down and wait for the red light. The light turns red. We come to a stop he purges his n20. Light turns green.. We both launch... **** tire spin... he pulls 1/2 car legnth then 1 car legnth I hit 2nd regain traction 1 car length 1/2 length middle of 2nd now side by side with him. End of 2nd my rear bumper is at his front fender. I hit 3rd... 1 car length 2 car lengths... still hear his exhaust roaring... 3 car length 4 car lengths approaching 70mph... he is still hard on determined to catch up. 5 car lengths.. I finally shut down proved my point. Well I forgot about him and went about on my way home. Well he catches up about 1 mile up the road and just looks at me. I rolled down my window and told him to stick to the 4 cylinder mustangs because even a 6 would have killed him. He just stared me down. I told him that my car is a bit on the sick side and I have a high rpm miss (I do it is kind of a big one too) and he just like man quit talking **** I didnt spray otherwise I would of kicked your ***.... Oh jeez here come the ricer excuses.....
first of all I have raced EX civic like his before... he was significantly faster than them... so I know he sprayed off the line....

yeah...
electric cooling fan and a MAC fender mount CAI and a hurst shifter...
currently needs...
Distributor cap and rotor
Spark plug wires
Shocks and struts
Tires
Exhaust
Radiator and water pump
and an ignition module....
She will not rev beyond 4800rpms right now.. hahahaha
Sad thing is she begins missing at 4400rpms and misses all the way up to 4800 where she will just not rev any higher!
lol damn I need to get her fixed!!!

Doing the exhaust and cooling system this weekend though.... and kinda sorta got tires.. but I want better ones....
oh by the way my Spark plug wires have the date of 1989 stamped on them....... need to replace those.... MSD's on the way...

I still can't figure out why these guys think a 50 or 70 shot is going to make them fast. Motor swap, Turbo. That's the only way. And that still only brings a high 13... YES a honda can be fast, but unfortunately, these ******* retards think the "H" means hella fast.... Haha..

lol I know am not fast. But I know I was quick (before the cylinder head failed) But it was fun! Now I am starting to get ready to get my mitsibishi on the road for winter. Mustangs are driveable in the snow but they do suck in it. But this was a fun kill... I had forgotten about this thread! lol
