Going down Fairmont in La Porte...speed limit 55 so I'm doin 60. This guy in a mustang 5.0 comes tearing *** behind me I see him in my mirror. He slows down beside me and takes off... I had my girl in the car and she doesn't like me racing in traffic. So I just chill and he bolts off... well he hits the brakes and gets beside me again. So I'm like ok I'll stay in 4th gear (automatic) if he gives me trouble I drop to 3rd. So he hits the gas beside me again and I hit it too...well in 4th gear I was pulling away from him pretty bad and his front bumper was even with my rear.

So we did it again because he blamed it on not having traction... but this time I dropped to 3rd and smoked his *** like Snoop Dogg smoking a blunt.

I knew the guy and he used to drive a riced out neon that ran "Low 14s" but I saw the timesheet.. it's more like a "Low 18"...so he's not used to speed I guess.

Just thought I'd tell you. I know how you people like hearing about mustangs getting stomped.

Good kill. And with an auto too.. mustangs can certainly create some power, if the person knows what to do with it..

well if the person bought a ford in the first place the chances of them being smart enough to know what they are doing are basically slim to none....

hehe my auto isn't THAT slow. Definetly could be alot faster though. Can't wait to do the swap. I'll prolly get myself killed... then again manuals give you that "complete control of car" feeling. =)

Who was it? I don't really know anyone with a fast 5.0 except for David J. or Matt H.. Have you tried racing that eclipse at the high school. I someone told me he was making low 12's which is complete BS to me. Then he came to school with numbers on his window saying he ran a 13.28. That is pretty damn fast for an eclipse!

I just wish he would wash his car! He has like 30 numbers all over it....
