First off my clutch is really bad, but anyway my buddy has a 2002 Neon RT(intake) and i have a 83 gsl(stock)...........we raced from a dead stop the first time, I had him by about half a car through first and second then we hit third and he put about a car on me till we shut down around at the end of 4th......2nd we raced from a 35mph roll we were even till about the middle of 3rd then he put about a car on me and stood at that, not bad for a stock 1.1 to his 2.0........its weird going from a low 13 sec. DSM to a car that barely beats civics, lol........Just waiting till I sell the other rx7 and the 260z so i can get my streetport, exhaust, and weber carb...then well see what happens. Just thought id let you all know about my first race in the 7

Well it coulda been worse.. Neons do go faster eventually than civics.. But for god sake man start modding that thing... a neon is bad enough.. what happens when its a Focus or an Elantra with a grapefruit launcher out back?

not really, they can be fast. my friend put a 350 turbo trans on it and its pretty quick.
