If any of you have been reading the first gen forum you'll notice my car died a month ago. HOWEVER, this happened the weekend before I toasted my front rotor. Out here in Oregon we have ALOT of horrible honda/acura cars. I have been beaten a couple of times and i was sick of it. So i had replaced the clutch with another stock one and was having some fun when a 91 came up next to me. This guy did a little revving which in turn got me going. Light turns green and i dump the clutch at 7500 rpms (yes i do think blowing the front rotor had something to do with this) getting a beautiful start. I shift at 7000 rpm again and notice the fool is almost 2.5 car lengths behind.... haha (evil laugh)

 

you dont just spin dumping it that high?

 

That was the thing. They span a little but all I did was take my foot off the gas and re-apply at full throttle. I hadn't had enough horses to have the tires start re-spinning. Besides I have larger P205 tires in the rear so that also helps
