Now that I think about it again, I'm sure it was the altitude that caused the 8-bangers to suffer. But that's the cards they were dealt when they bought an n/a. In fact, the supercharged '04 Cobras give me a good run, but are still beatable..

I'd rather have 350 footpounds of torque than a 9k rpm redline

well what does a high rev limit give you(other than a sweet *** sound )? Irather have all my power between 3k and 6.5k rpms cause you will alway be in the powerband and its not hard to get there. As long as the gearing is good, the low revving engine will be faster than the peaky engine on a track or drag strip...just my .02...cause i love rotaries and american v8s
I watch in amazment how bad these TA ( SS) sound and burn out but man they fall hard as they get down the track .... well more than I would have thought.
And you can tell the guys on juice, they get out the hole like always then they pickup steam and stay rolling.
I have video (Which is shitty and hope to down load) of the SS against Fast Freddy
stock twins ported motor @12lbs. getting a 12.10 win on street stock Khumo's.
The camaro gets the jump but thats short lived. But most people dont gear those cars.
