I realize that about the drivers, its what they do for a living. the srt-4 isn't a neon, its a different car, and I'd take a evo over it, but thats another 10,000...bang for buck, it can't be beat

Dodge...or MOPAR isn't giving you anything special really..not for a domestic.

they use to have cars in the showroom with engines putting outdoublt the sr-4 and went for 1/4 of it.

they can still perfectly do that but know they don't have to. instead of the whole loaf they know people will celebrate off of crumbs.

what? I have no idea what your trying to say. But find me a car that will run low 14 for 21,000, by low 14s i mean 14.1 14.2

i couldnt figure out what anarchy was saying either lol.. maybe im just tired.

Anyways, yeah.. seriously. STOP REFERING TO THE SRT4 AS A NEON.

And i know a couple people with them, they are nice guys. But every car has lame drivers here and there. Look at the rx7 guys (us), some of you are totally bashing a really decent car without even knowing what its real name is. I mean, most of us are mature enough and understand automobiles to realize that the rx7 is not the best car in the world. It can and will be beaten. But learn to respect cars, not the drivers. I dont really want to start another discussion about the car drivers so i'll leave it at that.

srt4's are good for the money.

enough said about this, if you disagree, come with something more than, "its an ugly slow neon!" ... infact.. dont say anything at all. Because youre already wrong. Just leave it alone..

its all relative though...times change...things cost more in today's age.

could you buy a 454 Vette back then for $4000...yep...can you buy a C5 Z06 for that now? LOL

You could buy a Cuda Hemi back then and it would whip the pants off the SRT-4...but people made A LOT less back then.

IMO the SRT-4 is an awesome bang for the buck. Sure its fwd...but if you need a fast affordable daily commuter...I don't see how you could go wrong!

The scary part is that its a commuter car with the potential to whip the pants off a C5... I mean its godawful fuggin ugly... But at least give Dodge kudos where its deserved... They made that engine easier to modify like it was made of Legos or some ****... If you wanted to add more guages to keep track of your ****.. guess what Mopar/Dodge already has bungs to make installation a snap. And the whole thing about different altitudes and being a different race.. Don't bet on it.. the SRT-4 ECU is intelligent enough to recognize the drop in air pressure and subsequently raises boost pressure higher to compensate... Now anyone that rices ANY car out deserves my spite and I hope they die a fiery horrible death.. closed casket hopefully.. but maybe I just a wee bit biased against ricers...

easy to compete with c5's cause gauges are easy to hook up?

you bring me an srt4 thats competing with a vette with "easy addons" or something done to it considered "easy" that is still a good commuter car and i will stand in the middle of my towns srt4 "gang" and declare rx7s as ****.

then set them on fire revving your engine as you drive away...so there aren't any witnesses to you saying that

You misinterpret my words oh wise jedi master... What I think you meant to say is "Explain your theory oh ye who is so Anti-Rice"... Mopar built that motor much like Nissan built the skyline.. Closed Deck block, extremely strong... Hell Mopars NHRA team is using stock block and crank I do believe.. Making an SRT-4 go faster is about as easy as ordering take out food... Dodge made this car extremely easy to modify.. its practically a tuners dream if just weren't a dodge... Don't get me wrong Kevin.. I hate the ******* about as bad as you do... I just give credit where its due as opposed to you going "**** NEONS! If they swung off my dick any harder they'd be my *****" but the whole thing with you shooting fire all over his bumper sounds downright hilarious and you should videotape it should you ever get the opportunity to
