Well the other night me and a couple of friends including my roommate who drives a 240sx with a sr20det under the hood and completely gutted out went out cruising and the next thing you know it he starts talking about how fast his car is and that it is the fastest import hear Abilene or at least so he thought. He is the big nissan guy that thinks that the nissan can never loose. So later that night we go to our spot to watch some other people race and as soon as my roommates girl shows up he grew a sack and called me out. the first run was shitty, I launched at high boost and spun the tires just a little to much and I slammed second and what do you know the 7 didn't go anywhere. So I gave up but we ran two more times after that on the second go around I took him but only by a half car length but he told every body that the only reason I won was because his speed govenor kicked it early. So I got tired of hearing his reasons for loosing and we where one and one with each other. So I told him I wanted to race him one more time and put an end to it so he seed sure so we went down to the starting line and I told him I was going to honk three times and well go, so then he tells me to hold on a minute because he wanted to up his boost to 23psi so I waited and then finally he was ready to run. We line up once agin and I honk three times and we drooped the clutch. We where neck and neck off the launch I ripped into second and pulled him by a car length, slammed the **** out of 3rd gear and pulled another car length hit 4th and pulled at least half a car so in the end I got him by 21/2 car lengths. So after the race we go back and he starts talking about how the race dosent matter and that he is still the fastes because he has a time slip that has him at 7.76 in the 1/8mile and I don't. I have only ran at the track one time when I was at Dallas and I pulled an 8.5 at 92mph in the 1/8 but that was a shitty run due to a crack in my PPF wich gave me massive wheal hope and I had to let off the gass on the launch and when I shifted to second. But you never heard me come up with any damn reasons why I lost the firs run I never told him that the only resin why he got me in the first run was due to the fact that second gear did not go in, but that's because I under stand that some times **** happens and you win some you loose some. And that was with my 7 running at 15psi.

I really hope he wasn't running 23psi on a stock sr20 turbo...If he is it aint gonna last much longer...and if he's still running the stock ecu he aint going faster than 180 kph...or around 110 mph...unless he sent that thing off to jim wolf....either way still a nice kill...

 

hey i heard somewhere that the stock turbo on a sr20dett only lasted till about 15psi till you needed an upgrade. but what ever you smoked him and he's the little ***** that won't admit to it.

 

he was probably trying to play some sort of mind game.....you should just hook up a 50 shot one night and demolish him.
