I saw this guy in front of me and ended up nect to him at a light. Him and his friend looked over at me and grinned from ear to ear. His car had skinnys up front and what looked like 275-315's in the rear. Open exhaust and who knows what else. Definatly a 1/4 mile car.

Light turned green and we rolled from the light pretty easy. When I was at about 4K in 1st he punched it..I answered.. I lost traction in first and had to shift to second I was fishtailing pretty bad, I spun second for a sec and let up on the throttle then mashed it again once I hit 5K RPM the tires lost traction again and I started to fishtail so I let off he was already about 3 cars behind and got to see me loose traction at the top of second.

I let off and just upshifter to 4th and cruised. He pulled up alongside and I looked over at him. I yelled to him, You did't expect that huh?? He asked what it ran, which reminded me I need to go and run this to see what it runs now. I told him I have no clue and went my happy way.

Makes for a geat day at work.

255/40/17 Toyo Proxes RA1's They are about 2 years old.

Ever since I put the boost back up to 1 bar I have been spinning them in second from 5K on up. I am planning a widebody kit in the next year so I will make sure to put some big fat tires on it then.
