all cars still stand. most are my friends, and through all their drunkeness their cars still hold up PERFECTLY..... plus the great fact is most have warrenty's

 

I can only think of 2 off the top of my head.



One was a 78 Z28 on ET Streets with me in street tires. He had a build 454 with some pretty low gears. We races twice, I beet him by a half car and he beat me by a half car. I had intake, full exhaust, PFC running 12ish psi



The other was a stroked LS1 with a super charger running about 9psi. He killed me pretty bad. I had the same mods as above, I'd like to race that guy again lol.

i got killed but a ford fu_kus and a bug in my vert . after that day i said i would never spend anymoney on a na turbo car again and i got a turbo 2 and never looked back and have not lost a race so far haha.

 

i dont use my car for auto-x, only drag.. if that means anything...

 

i asked that because 40% of the time is really not a race when they say they raced a guy at a street. well most of time some guys just add a lil too much to their stories

 

I street race more. Personally I dont like the track, its boring. I like spontaneous racing on the street where you just pull up next to someone and go at it.

Racing in the middle of a city is very risky. It' s better to take it on the outskirts of town where the cops don't roll through every five minutes. They've really been cracking down.

 

I wish we had a good track around my house. We have a really bad 1/8 mile track... Only the red necks go out there, or that's the way it was the last time I was there... I don't like to street race but I sometimes do it if there is no traffic.

 

Only the 03 Cobra comes w/SC from the factory. The 03 Cobra's engine internals is all forged ( like the Supra's) some tuner's have already taken it to low 9's with factory Eaton SC & 80 shot of N20 & some other engine external MODS visit: www.svtperformance.com.



The Saleen on the other hand had been using SC on their car since the late 80's. The new Saleen SC281E has forged internals also. The 03 Cobra has 4.6 DOHC V8 while the Saleen has 4.6 SOHC V8.

Saleen S281 SC= Supercharged 300+HP

Saleen S281 E = over price (50k-60k) 400+Hp

Saleen S351 SC= limited edition only a few were made 400-500Hp

Saleen Cobra = 03 Cobra w/ Saleen packaged (special order from the factory) & it's also over price
