Went to see George from Pac today regarding premix and he told me that they have the track opened and that a supra club where taking there cars for a test day. So I thought I might go and see what's happening there.

I meet up with a girl named Tammy with a 300zx twin turbo.

After 2 hours the track was opened for any other racer that wanted to race the supra's.

To cut the story short. I raced the 300zx and lost cause I missed a gear, but only by half a cars lenth. Then I raced the supra and won by 2 cars lenth. Then the 300zx raced the supra and won by 3 cars lenth.

So I besided to race the 300zx again and won by a cars lenth. After watching a couple of more races, out of the 5 supra there, only one, won a race.

At the end of the day, I went to leave and the Rx7 wouldn't start, so I called luis and he came to pick me up and get the car towed to Pac's workshop. I find out tommorrow what happened to the car.

I'm still happy, I only lost 1 race.

what was the car doing? would it just not idle, would it turn over, just click? etc..

 

We've both got the week off, so we sleep during the day or in the afternoon.

No ignition to the plugs.

no ignition .. bummer. You fixing it for her? One night me and some friends were rallying a full size conversion van and doing high speed downhill drifts with studded snow tires. It was fun, yet oh so scary. We eneded up breaking the timing chain, and the ignition stopped working. We were about 60 miles from our house too. lol.. but i got it on video! ... sorry, that just reminded me. totally irrelevant

over here we dont have track days like that ... here you have to pay lots of money, then be certified, etc.. just to race on the road course. Stupid SCCA.
