Lets see what Judge Ito runs the 1/4 with in his stock RX-8 and see. A stock FD runs what?? Mid to High 13's.

i think that the 13brew would walk on the renesis prolly, like a car length maybe even 1.5

My guess, and this is a guess, for the Rx-8, stock, on original tires, is we'll be seeing low 15s/high 14s in the quarter mile.

FDs, stock, on stock size 225/50/16 tires, seem to do high 13s with average intake temperature.

Lowest I have seen on a RX-8 is 14.4 for the 1/4 mile. 6.4 on the 0-60

But these where Mazda timeslips they claim come from production cars. Personally I think it's real

However, Ito has dynoed his car and it's showing several HP higher than most of the other dyno's posted so it will be interesting to see what he gets.

But even knowing the numbers, right now? Yeah, a FD will rape a stock 8.

The 7 is faster. No question about it. Maybe if the renisis had forced induction, but it doesn't .

Forced Induction is definitely what gives the 13BREW the edge over the renesis engine

I can't believe you are actually asking this! C'mon, man this is obvious. Something more relevant would be like a stock TII vs RX8. An FD.???? No contest, even the automatic FD's i think would triumph.

Well considering the FD is like 10 -8 years old is what i meant ,if i was saying a low mileage FD vs Rx-8 then it would be a stupid question, so I was wondering what yall thought of a stock 85k Fd vs a 8.
