you know what kind of power a supercharged LS1 camaro makes? its ALOT more than you need to catch speeders. I guess unless they are driving a modded FD or something and actually try and run

 

yea they arent supercharged, the police package is basically an options package from the factory, and i dont recall any engines coming from them supercharged.

Ford is not allowed by contract to say what is under the hood of a police interceptor. They cost ALOT of money. The only people that even know whats under the hood are the mechanics. Their is a mechanic in town the repairs the ones over where I live and he said that they are supercharged. Plus I had a friend steal one for a few minutes and said that it is a hell of a lot faster then a crown victoria. We have F150 Interceptors also. Supercharged. Why...is it so hard to believe???? A supercharger is only like 4k and the vehicles cost over 40k. A Z06 however sounds like over kill?

it makes more sense now, in joe's town the cops have fords and ****....what ford CAN'T you get supercharged now? =p You see supercharged fords everyday, lightning and the HD F150. A forced induction LS1 is easy 600hp, its not likely that they would put a cop in something like that considering how often the wreck the stock crown vics, there are some police LS1 camaros down south that run spray though.

 

 

While were on the subject, we have a Kent PD race team up here. Im not sure if you know, but Kent is (was) one of the largest 'street racing' scenes on the west coast. Anyways, there is a task force specifically for street racing compiled of quite a few officers. And when they arent busting us, they will race down at the local raceway. Give us a chance to race them. I personally havent gotten to race them or dont know what they run .. i read about it in the seattle PI.
