well we went out driving around cuz we had nothing better to do. we were in my friends early 90's ford pickup, dont remember if it has 302 or 351. it has exhuast with no cats. anyway....there was a riced out v6 mustang racing a riced out 240sx, with a 2001 or so eclipse following behind. well the 240 and mustang went at it and the eclipse floored it to follow them. we were about 3 lengths behind the eclipse and we floored it. that lil thing was winding up like no other WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeee as our slow ford walks right by him. LMAO it was so funny, and his hot gf looked over at this big purple truck like WTF. it was classic, that had to embarrass that lil piece of 4 banger rice. nothing like embarrassing slow *** ricers when they are with there girlfriends.

Same thing happened to me the other day, except just me and a ricer. I was rolling down the road minding my own business.(98 F150 extended cab 4.6 with K&N intake, true duals, and chip) All of a sudden this silver 2-3 yr old civic comes up beside me. (slammed, 15 inch or so custom wheels, and a fart can) He's probably a star at the local drifting events, who knows?

Anyway, we get up to the next light, and he's revving his fart can for all it's worth. I go WTH....Turn off A/C, hold brake, pedal up to 1100rpm, which is the best launch sequence for F150's. The light turns green, and I floor it, and let off the brake at the same time.

I jumped about 4 feet ahead immediately, and from then on he never entered my side vision, haha. I heard him there, so it was pretty close. Heard him chirp second.

We got up to about 75, and I had to let off because a light was coming up. supercab f150's ain't Ferrari's you know, lol. He blows on by, gets up to the next light, and he's holding his index finger up. I don't know if this is supposed to mean he won, because he certainly did not. The only reason he got there first is because I didn't feel like plowing into the poor soul in front of me at the red light....,,,,BB[attachment=38597:attachment]

Yeah. I get all the Teggies and civics wanting to race, but there is truly no point. I always tell them that it isn't worth my gas and they get pissed.

I had a *somewhat* similar experience this weekend. First off my truck is NOTHING special. I was cruising along at about 12 and this little CRX with a wing, rims and potato shooter pulls up next to me and shifts into neutral, he starts to rev his engine. We are the only ones on the street. I look over and start laughing histarically.

Well he shifts back into gear and starts to punch it a little. I was like oh well I might as well play a little. So I shift down to 2nd and we puch it together. I got the lead off the roll and eventually at about 55-60mph he passed me.

I own a 1994 b2300 that can't have more that 80hp. It is by FAR the slowest car that I have ever owned. Never-the-less it was fun to mess with someone. Not competition out there for my little truck. Can't argue with 30+ MPG though...

People seem to like to mess with me in my truck all the time too... never will understand it. It is fun to embarass them every once in a while though

2003 Tundra 4.7v8, full locked rear end magnaflow exaust.. no other mods. Still takes the 4 cyl civics and **** to town whenever I feel the need. I love it.

Haha. Great stories. this is along another line... I have no truck... lol. I DO however want to figure this out. I like to race. I know it souds RICER as ****, but it's still fun. The first time, a 240SX, full body kit, DUAL fart cans, cold air intake, and a wing as tall as the top of the damn car revved at my little STOCK 82 GSL. Keep in mind that all i have done to my car is remove the rear seats, lean it out a little, and drop in a K&N air filter. I was expecting to be totally OWNED, but I nodded to him, amd revved back, regardless. The light turned green, and my car LAUNCHED ahead of his, but only about 3ft. (he was a little behind my PS mirror). I shifted into 2nd at about 5500, and he was already in 2nd, so he got about bumper to bumper with me. Then, I heard his tires chirp as he slammed into 3rd. I was still in 2nd at around 5000 RPM. He dropped back a little, and then I shifted to 3rd and took him overall by about a car length. THEN, the next day, coming home from work, i was on the 3 lane one way in town, and a 5.0 Mustang was zipping in and out if traffic, then comes barreling up next to me. I looked over at this flat black rag top, and he taps his GF when we make eye contact. We were going about 35, and he points at my car. He and his girl start laughing, and I hear, 'little piece of ****'. then i hear the exhaust note from his car pick up. I grin, thinking, **** no, and slammed it into second. He was about a car length ahead of me, so the look on his face as i go sliding past him, rotary purring, with a grin on my face and my middle finger dangling non-chalant out the window was ******* priceless. The thing had to be an auto, but at the next red light, neither he, nor his GF would acknowledge my car, and now, whenever i see the 240, i just get glared at. Oh well, whether it was a fluke or not, hearing their engines tear themselves apart to keep up was damn priceless.
