I was planning to go to the track last night to get some times with my single turbo, but popped an intercooler coupler as soon as I left my house. By the time I repaird the coupler it was too late to go. Instead I drove down to the local car meeting place. There didn't seam to be too much going on, so I asked some guys if there was anything worth messing around with. I met a guy with a 1st gen eclipse. They car was tan with white hood, and pretty much stock looking. Under the hood he had a built motor, a forced performance green turbo, and was running about 14 psi. He was pretty cool and said he'd do a few pulls with me. Of course all the little ricers had to follow, so we had this big parade of 20 cars or so. He was awd and I was on drag radials, but I don't have much practice launching with them so we decided to go from a 1st gear roll. Immediately I got a carlength on him, then he fell way way back so I figured he must have missed a gear. I slowed down and waited. We went again three more times. I pulled ahead a car, then he stayed with me for a bit, but I gained each time I shifted. Once I got into 4th gear I pulled away hard. The 4th time he got the jump on me but I made up groud quick and pulled on him. When we got back to the parking lot I looked at his interior, almost fully stripped, not even a dash. He said it weighed around 2200-2400 lbs. No wonder he gave me such a decent run. Soon after a blue 94 supra tt showed up. AB Flug hood, windsheild washer leds, konig wheels. The guy said he had a downpipe and catback, no boost controller. We went back to the highway with the ricers following, and went from a 2nd gear roll. I pulled away cleanly and put and easy 10 cars on him before I backed off. We did this twice, then decided there was no point to continue. I went to get some gas then headed back. We bullshited for a while, cool guys. I got tired and it was cold out so I headed home.

I gotta say.. I was looking at the supra and then was like WTF!!!! LEDS wiper nozzles!!!! He deserved to be raped!!



Yeah.. Dave w/ the Talon has big plans for that car.. from what he says.. he's been building that thing for the longest.. I guess we'll see when he turns up the boost...



Also.. I wanna see how your FD runs w/ my friends 780HP supra.. just to see..
