so, once again i was coming home from work when a nissan altima cut across 2 lanes just so that he could line up next to me at the light. so i look over and see some new rims and thats about it, than i hear his blow off valve. i seem to remember that the 96 or 97 (something like that) had a turbo and about 225 hp. anyways we both start off slow from the line and than at about 3000 rpms we both punch it hard! I look over and we are about neck and neck through first gear although I heard him shift into second alot sooner than me (probably about 6000 rpms) I shift into second and im not pulling on him, I was like, oh ****, he is gonna beat me. I draw out second gear till about 7500 rpms and power shift into third, when I did this I hear my wheels scream a little. THAN! dear god, as soon as I hit third I start pulling HARD and end up 2 cars in front by the time he lets off. we pull up to the next light and he flips me off :rice: I was sweating by than and all I could do was grin stupidly anyways, fun ****!

for your information there were was never a factory turbo altima. prior to 2002 altimas had the ******* nissan truck engine, the ka24de. some people have turbocharged these in 240sx's, but it's extremely rare in freakin altimas.

they have these ******* speakers that you can put in your engine comp that will emulate the sound of a BOV, :rice: so that might be what I heard??
