A few of us went cruising tonight after working on our cars. We (two rx-7's including mine and a 240 with an sr20 swap + big turbo) were messing around on the highway. I came across new red camaro ss. Two young kids in it. We went from a 3rd gear roll at the third beep, up to about when I hit 150, and we was at least 7 or eight cars back. The kid flew by and game me the finger. Moron, it was a clean race and he lost. He'll probably wreck that thing soon anyway. We we contiunue driving and lining up against each other. Both the 240 and the other fd are strong cars. I'm single turbo so I walk them without too much trouble though. Up ahead I saw a bunch of sport bikes. I sped up to catch up to them and started pacing a silver one. We lined up at about 60 and I pointed ahead for him to go. He downshifted and nailed it. I was in third, and immediately spooled up. I stayed on it till redline and banged 4th. To my amazement, I was pulling ahead! Fouth ran out of rpms so I shifted into 5th and got back on it. I took it up to 150 plus and had abut 3-4 cars on bike. I slowed down and he gave me thumbs up. I looked closely and it was an R1! A new one at that. I just pulled a 1000cc bike! I was running 15 psi. At the same time, my friend in the other silver fd was racing a bike as well and won too. We drove some more untill my friend's coolant temp sensaor popped off. We had to pull over and plug it in, but everything was ok. We took the next exit and bullshited at the gas station for a while. We then started home and messed around some more. I turned my boost down to about 13. I think I beat enough on the car for one night. We messed around some more, and at the lower boost the 240 was alot closer. Even got me once. Then his plexiglass rear window decided to pop off! Luckily we were able to avoid it. We proceeded back to the shop.

Not too shabby, Mr. Huk. Was the other silver FD Eddie? How is his rex doing with the BNR Stage 3s?

Yea it was Eddie. His car is strong, but I still pull on him when we run the same boost. What it comes down to is the twins can't flow the same amount of cfm at the same boost level as a bigger single. We have the same porting though, so its close. I can't shift fast either. Trans is going out.
