Just the other day me and my friend matt were getting off work and disided to be dumb ***'s

up on state, well we get up there to the gas station and this 96 or so jeep cherikey pulls up to me

and asked the question "so you think your car is fast?" and i just promply replied "no" after a funny look he said "you wanna race?" and of corse i said "sure", then he just has to go and say somthing like "you know your going to loose" i chuckeld and said "ok".well the curent stats on my car are as follows=170 thousend miles plus k&n filter and an exhost that by no means would meat emissions and my clutch

is almost ready to die compleatly.

well we get going about 25, i am sitting there in second gear waiting for him to say go well there was no go

invalved he just stomped on it and so did i, I quickly pulled ahead by at least one car length,looking out my window wayving for him to cetch up i shift into third and pulled harder so he slams on his brakes and turns,

we pass by laghing and pointing fingers at the person who seemed so confadent he was going to win we drive home.[/color]

 

Hehe.....those guys and their Cherokees. I though my town was the only town with guys like that. We got two ricer cherokees. Funny as hell.

They confuse torque with power.. I drove my brother 6 cylinder cherokee, manual tranny and 4x4.. That **** would give you whiplash when you stomped the pedal.. but it was definately not fast...

bwahaha the first weekend my freind had his modded fd we were coming back from the movies when some moron hick in a riced out cherokee asked him what kind of car it was and then tried to race us,it was really funny, they looked really pissed that theyre cherokee couldnt beat an fd,but then again they didnt even know what kind of car the fd was
