Heh heh, good kills indeed bro you desearve them all. See alot of msucled out V8 owners like some guys or a whole club for that matter(o my sig banner). Think's that it it's an import it sucks and it's slow no matter what andd others in the club figure well as long as it runs a decent time it's cool . But that is a very very small percentage of them all. at any rate good kill.

~BB~
Maybe a small percentage of imports, but a very high percentage of 3rd Gen 7's and TT Supras will munch on V8 muscle all day long .

Look forward to seeing you when I'm back with Gotham.....
You still in hell Rich? [/quote]

Sho Enuff . Looking at 2 more months in this place, then it's off to rebuilding rotaries and installing turbos at Gotham. Man, I can't wait.....does it get any better than owning your own shop?

Oh please dude, don't even get them started on supras..they kill'em all day long. There's a supra club here in orlando that they have a on going fued with. They HATE supras but for good reason too. Alot of them know imports better then some of the owners..kinda sad really. As for GEn-3 7's they don't care for thoughs either..not enough of them around here to count for much anyway.

They won't slow your car down, but your speedo WILL be off by a little. The only major performance downside to 18's and up is their weight, that's it.
nice kills....

i run the same set up as far as the wheels are concerned, and my speedo is only off by a slight 4mph in top gear. there is almost no difference in the lower 4 gears........

the weights are off a little though. the rears weigh like 17.25 if i remember correctly.....i weighed them at my house.....your major weight difference is going to come from the tores that you choose. the 18" tires are already much heavier than the 16's and different brands weigh mroe than some....

Exactly, but we can easily (well maybe not easily) offset the weight 18's will bring with them. Lighter wheels will help, and lighter suspension components will also help.

The biggest mistakes I see people make are that folks think that if they add bigger heavier wheels, they take the added weight off at another place on the car (lighter seats, hoods, etc.). That's not a good idea since weight balance if greatly affected, if you add weight in the suspension, try to offset that weight in other suspension components,

this in the only way to achieve a good performing chassis and car.

Lousi, feel free to add things to this please. I'm a very suspension conscious guy. LOL
