So my buddy finally got his impala all done bodywork wise and motor and stuff is getting there so we decide to cruise over to the local big *** wawa with like 3000 car parking lot to hang out at the meet. We get there and it's mostly American cars and suby and evo's hanging out. There was a few people intrested in my car so I left it sitting out so they could check it out and stuff.

Anyway it got boring and most of the people start leaving so me and my buddy do as well... just in time to pull up next to a blue WRX sitting at the light. I get to the light and i look over and tell the kid, whos my buddies friend as well, that we can make a few runs. Now from a launch, I started pulling on him hard after 1st but a car came up and we had to chill out with that for a a sec .

So we slow down to like 25 MPH and let all the cars in front get way ahead. Im crusin in 2nd gear at about 4k and we do the 3 honk deal... we race, we're basically neck and neck till im in 4th when i started pulling on him but that was 105 MPH so i said **** it, I won whatever, but of course he wants to keep going so I just let him drive by.

We made a total of 4 rolling pulls and I won just about everyone by maybe half a car to a car length. Now this is the best part, keep in mind my car JUST has a downpipe and catback with a K&N drop in filter, nothing else performace at all. This WRX had a standalone fuel controller, up pipe, downpipe, turbo swap to a upgraded subby turbo, full exhaust straight back 3" no cats or anything, full intake, running 16 PSI (8 psi is stock) and aftermarket wheels.

Yea it feels good to whoop on cars with 6k+ in performance mods with a basically stock RX-7. We're going to setup a real race after I get my ECU to see how it goes from a stop, but this time at a dragstrip Atco if anyone is intrested in watching.

That's all for now, lata rotary playas

All that AWD **** at 40+ don't help much. Extra weight. AWD is nice at launch.

Good kill man.

I'm not the biggest fan of AWD after driving it for a few times. I don't know...feels like it's going to tear up on me or something...

Nice runs, my friend had all the same stuff on his wrx, minus the standalone, and he ran a 13.5 at atco

I think it is just alot of extra weight. And more parts to break eventually.

Man I stayed neck to neck with a WRX from about 30-80 in my 85 GS, not impressed at all by those fagmobiles.
