So yesterday I had jury duty at 8AM. I was done around noon and decided to call into work to see if they need me. Word is everything's taken care of, so I make like a baby and head out in the FD for a little drive. I was on my second tank of fuel and traffic was starting to thicken. There's a little white STI that's been following me for a few miles, trying to keep up as I dart through the cattle.

I'm on I76 westbound, coming up to the I-25 southbound interchange. I'm in the left lane doing about 68 when the car in front of me finally creeps by the semi we've been passing for the last 4 miles. So naturally, I drop it and cut the hole. Dunno how fast I was actually going, but I topped 3rd and slid into 4th just as I squeezed in. I looked in my sideview mirror and see TWO black-and-whites with cherries lit, coming after me.

I dunno where the **** they came from..

So I hang out in front of the semi as the exit lane starts. The cops make a move into the left lane in persuit, and I thought I was busted, so I flip into the exit lane so I could pull over immediatly; until I noticed that the fuzz didn't see me in the exit lane! I exited in a normal, quiet manner and the sirens-blaring, lights spinning 5-0's flew down the freeway.

I dunno if they were for me or not, but if they were, they sure got served.

LOL! I've escaped the fuzz like that a couple of times. Usually at night, I'll kill the lights and roll down an off ramp.

I was bringing food back last night, I wasn't booking it, but I wasn't going the speed limit. I see a cop flash his lights at me so I slow down but he just turns them off and keeps going. I still ran off into another part of the neighborhood for a bit before making my way back home.

Ya I have that happen to me a couple of times, they just do it to warn you to slow down, usually a cool cop will do this.
