so I pull up next to my friend on his 2002 Honda CBR600F4i, and we race. It was a great race, in the first 100 ft. he was only about 99 ft ahead of me . Next time I may be able to take him, what do you think?

One of my best friends had a 2002 F4i. We raced and he left me due to traction issues, but when the end of third came near- so did he. As I shifted into 4th I caught him and at about 6500rpm's passed him. This was at about 140-150. Bottom line- you can beat some of those rockets if you've got enough road.

i know the feeling.....if you have enough road, you can run almost any of those bikes stock on teh top end.....i ran to almost 180 with my windows down and the roof open in my first fd, and that was with my passenger.....we were about 3 car lengths behind a yamaha r1 the whole time.....my buddies bike topped out at around 186...i got to 178...

Man....I get nervous when I run too much over 100 with the moonroof open.

I keep thinking that the wind's going to rip it right off-

I have a video of me getting my *** kicked by a 2002 Honda CBR929 Erion Edition.....pretty shitty race. I want a rematch with my new setup...I think I can take him this time. Bikes are crazy fast, I want one. What do you think my FD can top out at: Race Ported motor w/ a GT35/40 turbo. Stock 4:10 gears, I want to see 185mph...is that possible?

WOW!

I did not think a car had a chance against a crotch-rocket. I figured with with their power-to-weight ratio they would eat almost any car alive, especially on the top-end. I was always afraid to race a bike in some of my other cars but now maybe I'll try it.

How about in a street start, say from 40-50mph?

My father-in-law has a Duccati 900ss and it is fast but not for a superbike (it's made more for the twisties). May when I get my FD running again, I'll take him on. He has no respect for my car or any other imports.

I'd own him if I beat him on his bike. HA!HA!

ive run a few bikes.. some have whooped my ***.. some have been whooped.. with enough road, and the right conditions.. you can easily take an unmodded bike on the highway... modded ones... watch out for those!
