I got my *** handed to me when I had my first FD by trying to take on a Audi RS6. Lesson learn't straight away. Don't even try.

Since then I guessed I've always had in mind that I want to be able to kill Audi RS6s and BMW M3s and M5s. I've still got a long way to go before i could comfortably keep up or beat one I think. Anyone have any idea what sort of power would be needed? I would love to hand a middle aged man his ***.

So do you guys have anything that you measure your rides against that you'd wanna give a beating too?

Audi Rs6 - 450bhp for 1850kg = 243bhp/tonne a 1400kg rx7 would roughly need 340bhp to match that, assuming gear ratios etc. will roughly be the same.

I saw a new E46 M3 a few years ago get walked by a mildly-modded FD. I dont think you'd need much to hang with the M3.

thats easily attainable with all the bolt ons and 14 psi on stock twins. FDs are FAST when they are tuned with proper fuel mods done, even with twins

I just looked them up,I never relised that they were V8 twin turbo. No wonder those things are fast. Thought they might have just been V8.

Just on a side note a family friend just got a new C320 AMG, so I'll have to give it ago and let you know what happens.

[/quote]you suck LOL just kidding ummmmmm I would say get your modds ready

like exhaust, boost controller, etc. But come on a third gen losing to a Audi???!

I've beaten M3's,M5's and S4's with my old turbo II with a sleezy T3/T4 kit that was used and I only spent 400$ !! 200$ for the kit and 200$ for exhaust. So if I did it with a FC you should do it with the FD

This was when I had my first FD which was pretty much stock, it only had exhaust

done.

Shouldn't have too much trouble now I think. Just gotta put the boost up when I get my boost controller and then tune.
