Well as the title says, i raced a black 4 gen supra tonight. I was pulling through an intersection and saw him stop across the street. Stoopid me decides to rev as i go by...so he made the turn my way and cought up., We were rolling @about 40, i was in 2nd gear.



I pointed ahead and he nodded. He punched it first and got the jump on me. I nailed it but it was too late. His turbo spooled (pretty loud) and he pulled 2 cars on me by 110 mph. I gave him the thumbs up and made on my way.



well, my first race wasnt a kill. You cant get em' all...i dont mind losing to a nice 4th gen....but i hope it doesent happen again. More mods here i come...

two cars ain't bad...some of those supra's are full of *****...you never know what you'll get in one..

Yeah gotta watch those supras and GTRs they can haul ***. If it makes you feel better I've been waxed by a Supra.

 

Sucks you lost, better luck next time.. I still haven't gotten to even race anyone yet.. I even had my eyes set on this 300Z on the interstate.. but he didn't even look my way.. he had shades on but.. not sure if he was cocky as hell, or thought he'd get beat..

 

You are in serious need for mods once you master launch technique. Good luck next time!

 

It's all good. Especially in your area. I'm not sure how close you are to Atmosphere Racing(I think thats their name)...they are a high performance supra shop in MD...so it's probably a hot area for fast MKIVs, lol.



Come down to Manassas Va..home of PFS and Rotary Performance, and see how many MKIVs drive around w/ tail between their legs for fear of running into one of PFS's modified "stock appearing" FDs,lol....
