ever since i got my 7 back i've been dyin to put a smackdown on all of the ignorant ******** dissin the 7s but my tires have been bald so i couldn't really launch. but last night i just said wtf and raced anyway. first i tried racing one of my friends in his mr2 turbo w/ n2O but every time we went at it, i either spun through 1st and 2nd or another time he missed 3rd, so we never really had a good race. but later that night, an eclipse gsx revved at me at a light, and all i thought was i don't even have to get get a good launch for this one.

so it turned green and while he was off like 3 cars in front of me, i was still spinning. when i finally got some asphalt i immediately pulled him in and when my 2nd turbo kicked in in 3rd, it was over. i flew past him as if he were parked. i was just glad to get that first kill out of the way.

but i told everyone who wanted to race me thT night to wait until next week when i get new tires and so i'm supposed to race another fd, which i should handle, another eclipse, maybe a 12 sec talon and that same mr2. i'm mainly worried about the mr2 cuz it whooped up the other fd.

good kill... dam it must be nice to drive in FL. watch out for those 4wd talons... they don't like to relinquish the leads they get from the jump.

keep up the good work.

actually it's my first kill since i've had my car back and running, but i only had it for like a month before that. and about the talon...that's why i would lose that race, because i just now am beginning to use some tires that are worth a **** so i never have really practiced my launch. once i get that down, i could at least take the mr2 i mentioned. by the way, with street tires, what rpms do you guys recommend dropping the clutch from? - i haven't got the feel yet.

the fd i was supposed to race belongs to this guy my age who goes to Canterbury School (rich boy). it's a red '93 touring with about 45,000 mi.
