Just toss a 20B into that MG, or whatever that car was that you got. If you got good enough tires, you might run 6s.

Between chassis and engine, you would probably need $100,000 or so. Look at top fuel cars, they have 6000 horsepower and they dont "seem" to be THAT much faster, but when you start breaking 10's, it costs alooooooot of money to go faster, never mind when you start breaking 8's, 7's, well you get the idea. Never mind 4 seconds!

Yeah, 10's can be done on a somewhat limited budget. After that you need specialized suspension and chassis work, etc.

lol or you can have my buddies problem... he is trying to keep his car running right at the 12.1 mark so he doesnt have to install a rollcage... funny thing about it. Anything he does to make it run smoother and more reliabley seems to make it faster.. hahaha...
He moved up to like an 800cfm carb and the thing flew into the low 11's.. oops! But the throttle seemed more responsive.. so back on went the old 650Cfm. (the 750cfm caught on fire! OOPS)
He recently switched to Centerline rims and it even seemed to pick up from that one... (though he is still breaking in this car so that could be it too)
oh well
I am happy with 12's......
