He's got a point...no way even at 14psi would he have been a challenge, not for you ace![/quote]

Well, it was my first chance at any halfway decent race. I tried to race a C5 Corvette today since he was going fast on the highway, but after I got next to him he slowed down and wouldn't bite.

My neighboors are pretty cool. On guy has a 5.0 he runs like 11's it is a really nice ride. We love listening to him pull out you can hear those cams. They are so nasty, and that is in a good way. Then our neighboors down the street are cool too. The guys son drives a malibu I think. An old one not the shitty ones they have now. And he has a 69 SS. Which runs high 11's . Pretty cool to have a dad who has a car like that.

I was almost home from vosko's house in the middle lane of Sunrise Highway. I saw a Grand National in the left lane, and when we were next to each other I saw that it was my neighbor from across the street. He waved and then took off. So did I, and we got to the next light. He was in the left lane, and I was in the right. I heard him rev his engine. So I did the same, and we both took off. I launched at about 6500 RPM and spun the tires alot. So in first gear we were about even. In 2nd I was pulling ahead, and after 6K RPM I started pulling much harder. I ran out 3rd and left him way behind. I slowed down to pull into the shopping center to get some food, and as he passed me he was clapping his hands and laughing. He loved it just as much as me.

Nice kill!

People underestimate the Grand National all the time, freaking thing is quick as all get out.

Even better that he got a kick out of it.

Yeah, Grand Nationals can be made VERY fast. I've always liked them.
