:squint: I detect someone is lieing because along with my fd I have a 98 GSX and on a 14g turbo I can only squeeze out at the max 10-14 lbs of boost anymore and the turbo WILL OVER HEAT and die! End of story.. Maybe that guy could have had a 16g or 20g.. Thats when you'll hear DSM's pulling large amounts of boost on their turbo's but they still cant stop the fd's.

:smirk:

A T25 can only RELIABLY handle 15 psi max. You can get more out of it, and you can also ruin it trying to get more out of it. Mine hits 17 psi daily. The problem with the T25 is that it cannot flow enough air to keep that 17psi all the way to redline, it spikes up to 17 and then starts dropping instantly. I had mine spike all the way up to 27psi once. It was cool...

that guy had the right idea.

i thought DSM's only ran at 6-7 lbs. of boost when they are stock? 14 psi sounds way to high https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif

I ran 15psi on the street with 93 octane on my 90 DSM. I couldn't run much higher than 17psi at the track on the stock fuel pump...I hit fuel cut at 24psi (that's what can happen when you use a shady home depot boost controller). The 14B turbo's on the 89-94's can be good for a solid 22-25psi. Believe it or not, my friend has a 91 DSM that runs 12.9 on the stock 14B. Of course he has a ton of other mods and weight reduction though.....
