So you have no pep in your car at all? My 88 base has some pep in it. It's no TII or FD, but not too shabby for being N/A.



You can make your FC bad ***. You can just do a streetport,exhaust,header, and do some serious suspension work and kick an FD's *** in the twisties. Just be patient. People will always lose.



What have you done to your car so far? Go fast goodies wise, suspension wise, weight loss wise?

 

I have an 86 GXL and while, I agree, its not very fast in a straight line, but I'd like to see anyone keep up with me in the turns.

 

ohh dont get me wronge in the turns i dominate but str8 line sucks. all i have is a cone filter, gutted cats. Its not much but i can feel my car is not running 100% like i said I drive my friends car an 88 and it feels ******* fast but mine is not.



but I already decided to do a TII swap.

 

What sucks the most about it though, is if he was the typical Honda-head, he will go and exaggerate the whole thing. "Yeah dude, I totally thrashed a second gen RX-7 and that thing had a T78, full exhaust....... probably cams too!!".......
