First of all, I drive a 99% stock '85 GSL with the 12a. So I'm just casually driving along this road and then I notice some guy tailgating me. He then switches lanes pulls up next to me and revs the **** out of his engine. The only problem with that was that his SUZUKI ESTEEM was all stock so I could barely hear it. So I look over and I see this kid thinking he was the **** and I just laughed my *** off at him. Anyways, he keeps driving and trying to get me to race him.



Finally, I get sick of seeing this ugly *** Suzuki so I decide to try my luck on him. I pulled up beside him (while on the road going about 40 mph) put it into second gear and wait for him to gun it again. As soon as he does, I do too and I immediatley start pulling ahead of this retard. I keep going but only till I get to about 60 mph because it was almost 1 AM and I didn't want to get a speeding ticket. So I'm clearly ahead of him at this point so I let off the gas. About 3 seconds later, he finally whizzes by me and hits the brakes.



I'm not sure if he thought he won the race or not, but I really don't care. I thought it was funny seeing this kid think he was the **** in his lame *** car. I'm not saying my car it particularly good at dragging, but come on, a Suzuki Esteem!?

 

What exactly is a Suzuki Esteem?

i was in dutch harbor AK a couple months ago, and for people that dont know it (99% of the population) in the summer it looks like new zealand. Its volcanic islands in the aleutian chain. Anyways, all thier roads are gravel. And they are at the base of the islands, right by the water. VERY curvy. There also arent many people there and police force is almost nonexistant. Well i rented an esteem to get me to and from docks and to the store. That thing was a bad motha!



I spent 3 full days topping the thing out on windy gravel roads. I used the ebrake ALOT going around the roads. The thing was a beast! I finally blew up the front passenger tire. I then switched them for a escort wagon. mmm.. luxury at its best!



lol .. but damn.. 5 speed, 4 cyl, good ebrake, 35 collective miles of gravel windy roads, beautiful scenery, NO cops, and a full tank of gas leads for a really fun time!!
