I wasnt being a smartass, I thought that maybe he meant a GTI ( being as I is next to O on the keyboard), or he just got the year wrong of a Pontiac GTO someone he knew had. Then when you said it was a Yamaha, I thought it was some street name for a Yamaha bike.

Yeah I am sorry for the confusion I'll make sure I am more specific in the future. Yeah 3000's were up there as far as price range. Base model started at like 29or 30 g's. It is a lot. And as far as a 7 and 3000 go a stock base 7 verses a base 3000 a FD would beat it. It is a realy nice car. It has great looks. Only problem is it is so heavy. They had a V6 in it but it just wasn't enough to make it formidably fast. I think the fastest one does 11's in the 1/4. We just got done today actually putting side markers on it. It looks really phat. I like the car just needs more power.

Yeah, I've heard they are quite big in comparison to the 919. Of course, if I ever owned one of those, it would be way down the road in my life.

Just depends on what you want if you want a full streetbike or a cheap starter and plan on upgrading in a year.
If I were to shop a first bike now, knowing what I know now I would probably look at something like an SV-650, good size, plenty of power so you won't outgrow it too fast, but they are pretty cheap in comparison to most of the streetbikes out there.
You can also find CBR-600's (the ultimate squid ride) pretty cheap, but they are often beat to **** because they are rode by "usually" less experienced riders.
Guess I should add that the Katana 600 that my wife is on now was/is a prety good started bike and they are pretty cheap too.

I keep wishing Honda would bring over the CB600F from the UK over here. Its basically a 919 with a smaller engine. I like the standard style better than the superbike-crotch rocket style. I've looked a bit into the SV-650, but I can't get past the fact that its a dead ripoff of the Duck Monsters. I'm certainly willing to buy used, so if you have any biker friends selling a good bike, let me know.
