I was on my way from picking up my son and was stopped at a light when a RSX

pulled up. He had the stereo going (BOOM BOOM BOOB), it was lowered and had

some Gay assed chrome wheels.



I had my son in the car, so I'm not even thinking about racing, just annoyed at

all the noise this kid is making.



Light turns green and I go. He get a little jump, about 1/2 car, and keeps

accelerating. I get to 3rd and then he punches (@40-45mph). So me, thinking

"HELLS NO!" punch as well. I wound up 3rd full throttle and when the buzzer

sounded (@80mph) he had 2-3 lengths on me. so I backed off the throttle,

slowed and made a right at the next light.



How do you explain to your 8yr old son why you didn't beat the other guy?

I told him "I have some work to do on the car, then I'll hand him his butt on a

platter!" I hope I'm right

Yup, it is. After thinking about it, the situation should have been a lot worse.

It pretty much was a torque contest, niether one of us downshifted.

I'm devising some unorthodox mods to my 12A

12A vs. RSX (type s..?) that's not bad man. You'll kick his *** once you get that thing roaring.

 

Unfortunately I live in the Socialist Republik of Kalifornia and am limited to what

I can get away with (Big Brother is watching...)

So the majority of my mods are going to be internal. or maybe if i can find me a

cosmo front clip I'll install a 13BRE with all the fixin's
