hmm, if u got to a real nice bit of twisty road u couldda whoopa'd him round the corners...well, that is if ya car handles very well
now, I am not someone who normally flames someone for stupid comments, but I just have to throw in my 2 cents here, for the most part, decent crotch rockets (CBR, YZF, etc) only have one downside, danger. that means, they generally accellerate faster, have higher top end, stop sooner, and turn better than most any car on the road, although I have seen a few 700+hp supras hand some damn fast bikes their asses, then again, it was a 700+hp car, and I bet the bike would have walked them in the corners. (can you tell I really want a bike? who cares if I could become street pizza?) the way I look at it, at the speeds I would be going, any mishaps and I am a red mist no matter what I am in

i think a bike would be fun. if only the risk of dying was lower
I have lost some friends to bike accidents, no more bikes for me since that, sold my ZX-11 and havent looked back since.

uh, a well handling car can take a bike in the twisties, I have seen videos of 3g's on ducati's *** in road courses. Bikes don't really handle *that* well, they have much less contact patch to work with (altho they do have alot less weight too). And on the big end, the bikes advantage starts to fall off. Don't race bikes from a standstill if you want to have any hope of being competitive unless your car runs 9's. From a 100mph rollon though, it can be quite competitive. My friends stock TT supra will hang with bikes on the highway no problem, but gets dusted in a street race from standstill. Anyone have any Cd ratings for bikes with riders? I don't think it's in the bikes favor when compared to something like an NSX or a 3g, that can hurt alot on the big end.

Ever seen a rocket try an autocross course?
