So im coming home from Advance today, needed some parts, and im in the crapstang. I was on the highway cuz its faster, and i hear this noise. The second i heard it i shut the radio off and whipped around in my seat, i knew what it was, and i was right.



On my *** was one beautiful FD, gorgeous. So im steady staring at him, occasionally looking where i am going, and he pulls up next to me. So im gawking at this guys car, he prolly could tell i was exstatic to see it. So he motions his head do i wanna race.



Well im jus grinning like a crazy person, and i shook my head as if to say "are u KIDDING??". He starts laughing, and drops down a gear. **** it, i floor it. About five minutes later the motor catches up to my request. Exaggeration, but u get it. So im doing like 80 and im topped, and he blows by me.



I got creamed by an FD, and god i cant stop smiling!!!!

 

i had a young guy in a 350z try and do that to me today in my civic, but i wasn't grinning. i was like "you're lucky my FD isn't here" and he was like....."?????" and i was like "my twin-turbo rx7" and he was like "oh cool" and i was like "ran against one yet" and he goes "i tried to race a pink one earlier" at this point i grabbed a straw from the trash pile in the passenger side of my car and cut my ears off and stabbed out my eyes at the thought of seeing a pink FD. i hate people.

I've seen a lime green FD before and i have to tell you that thing didn't look right. His paint look cheap and the color wasn't there

 

damn wish I had a scanner, in the dec. 2000 super street there was a RE Amemiya FD that was pink and had the "Porsche eseque" front end, ugly a hell...............

 

Yeah, i remmeber that one. Didn't it have like 700hp?? Either way, it was a waste of FD

 

i would bow down to an FD or rx7 at all for the fact.. if i was in a diff. car of coarse

 

Don't let the bitch color fool you, it was built by the man himself, and would drop most car's on this forum w/out a problem.

I am an FD fan, I am a rotary fan.... but any turbo charged rotary owner knows what happens when you lose boost. Happened to me when I blew my blow of valve flange clean off my intake pipe going down I85. I know exactly where to hold the gas petal ... and if I push one more milimeter ....Boooost. but this time, all I got was ...plluuuughhhh. A cobra, or any other torquee car will kick your *** without boost....Sadly enough so will the Mini Shoe... I mean Cooper S.
