im coming back from my parents house in NJ, on route 9 north, stop on a red light and im first (i love being first on lights) two lanes, on the rigt pull sup a brand spanking new silver G35 coupe, two girls in it. light turns green and i floor it, to my surprise so does she, she had me by a fender at the bottom of first but as the rpm's rose so did my power , i gained all through first second i was ahead, third her front bumper was on level with my rear, oh and i was driving the S500(hehe) fun!!!

 

when it comes to pistons no replacement for displacement..... infinity v6 got nothing for s500's v8

 

yea but i thought they were supposed to be fast no?

dont they push around 300hp? same engine as the Z but a bit more power

 

both cars run like 13.9 or 13.8 in the 1/4 reportedly.



the g35 maybe a tad slower cause it packed on a couple extra pounds.

Sucks a girl even got ahead of you at all.. I remember reading some reiview of the G35 coupe and I don't remember it getting a 13.9.. it has some power, but it's not all that quick..

 

i doubt that it can go 13.9 also

 

i had the ac on cause i wasnt gonna fully race i jsut always stomp it on that road,

as soon as she started pulling i noticed she was raacing and i turned it of caught up right away

 

maybe it's the 350z then, i coulda swore one of them were in the 13's stock.

350z is high 13's in the manual version, auto is low 14's and maybe on a magical day dip into 13's.



G35 should be just a tad slower in straight line at least.

 

I say the G35 hits a 14.6
