0-60 in 5.0 is what i've heard

 

how fast are z06's

 

the new M3's pull a 1/4mile of 13.2sec, and the Z06 pulls the 1/4 mile in 12.44sec. the reason the bimmer is so fast is because the engine reaches peak tourqe at around 2800RPM and revs to around 8K that is one sick powerband.

 

thats the one thing displacement has over us. damn flat *** torque curves

 

A stock FD may possibly beat both of these.. and remember.. the specs you see listed on all of these cars have been done by professional race car drivers.. so, yes, Turbo II's right.. anything's possible..

 

Yeah, my engine is ported, I have a downpipe and exhaust and already I can beat most of those cars in the

1/4 mile. About the M3 I still don't think it is faster then the Fd. I have never raced one though. As for the Z06 that time is a little fast dont ya think? The best time I have ever seen for one is 12.9. A 12.4 would make it faster thent he new vipers cause they run a 12.5. Okay pulled out my new Raod and Track mag

z06- 12.8 (damn I was wrong!)

Viper(SRT-10)- 12.2

911- 13.4

Lotus- 13.0

SVT Cobra 13.3

Evo 8 13.8

NSX 13.4

Civic SI 15.9





So basically all the cars are slightly faster. The best time i have seen on the FD was 13.5. But who knows unless you try right???

 

Nah...those car's off the line will beat the 7.
