it definitly sucked, i figured he would give me a little bit of a challenge but... no nothing at all. I had a similar experience with a mid 90's mustang gt.

Good kill! the 98 year came with ls1's and theyre definitly not a slouch. Considering your mods the z28 you ran would have gave a stock fd a tougher time. They may be a pos but they're no snails.

if it were an LS1, it would have been a more fun race...

[quote name='EZFD' date='Sep 13 2005, 11:50 AM']This is true and I think the guy i raced was one of my little brother's friends who I think is 16 or 17. The kid had no idea what was going to happen. Pretty gay!

my first car was a trans am that I bought with money I had saved from working since I was 13 years old

my dad made me pay own insurance and shot downt the other 3 cars I had wanted to buy because he thought they would get me in trouble.

it never fails if a young guy has a decent car everyone assumes his parents purchased it.

although stokc for stock a ls1 will whoop a lt1s ***.....lt1s love juice and fi...so just because its an older style...93-97 camaro...doesn't mean its gonna be slow...they run high 13s or low 14s stock..pretty much the same as a stock fd. a ls1 fbody can hit mid to low 13s stock...and a intake and catback will put you into the 12s....much different engine. an ls1 can also handle a 125 shot with no problem on stock fuel system and everything.
