I was thinking the same thing. Fuel cut on my FC is way lower than that...and why not just get an FCD, they are dirt cheap, especially on here and other forums.

Turns out it isn't/wasn't fuel-cut at all.

It was somehow pre-ignition. Aparently somehow, or something was causing it to do this..but there's so many different reasons, I have no idea.

Motor just went boom on me last night. Nothing else makes sense as to why, except for pre-ignition/detonation type scenario.

Started her up, lumpy idle, stalled, and now won't start. This is never happened before, till last night after installing new plugs/wires, I went WOT on the highway, it "hesitated" as I tried a few times...soon after, she started acting funny.

Hooray.

Anyone want a modded FD for 9k?

I hate my ******* life.

Wow. Looks like I over-reacted.

It's not blown. Not one bit.

Spark plugs were fouled to high hell, is all. Started RIGHT up. Perfect idle.

Found out I've got a vacuum leak or two, is all. Causing it to run rich.

Drove it home just fine, just didn't boost.

Gonna go through it tomorow.

It was pulling 13-15 vacuum and idling well at 700-800. Just the vacuum leak would cause it to idle lower, wass all.

Hoorah.

Indeed. Couldn't work on her today though, it was raining hard.

That, and my dog of 8-9 years died today... so I'm not doing so well, mentally right now.

I wanna cry every time I look at my bed and don't see him lying there waiting for me to pet him.

You may not care, but I just had to vent, I'm sorry.
