03-04. Big body style, kind of ugly. And yes, those things can be monsters. Even stock, they are pretty quick. No worries though, he has 2.5x more power than you do.

add that single turbo and rerun that cobra punk from a dead stop and see what he has then. i bet he didnt run from the stop cause he cant hook his **** up on the streets. good effort though keep it up.

Well sort of. It's an expensive car (relatively speaking) so if he can afford the cobra, he can also afford good tires. If he does have good tires...and he's a fair driver, FD might not get enough of an advantage off the line to win.

No lie, a good loss to a great car. I don't see many stock Cobras out there anymore. They've got a great setup for easily bolting on some power adders (bigger s/c belts, intercoolers, etc). My friend got an '04, changed exhaust, added a chip, put on some decent tires, and he was real quick. He just added a 2-stage intercooler so he can increase boost a little bit; should be a monster to deal with.

850 hp cobra? He must have had a turbo setup, or a kenne bell or whipple blower and a healthy shot of nitrous on top of that. Don't race one from a roll, they get INSTANT boost.
