Racing a 99 hatch LS/vtec swap, Ito said that car must have at least 180HP

so I raced him at bunker hill. remember in this situation it depends on the driver

so in this case i was the bad driver . So we race the first time and my boy flag

I slept off the line and pulled at the end of 1st gear passed him up by a door then we were even then my car pulled forward by half a car and then i missed third and still beat him by a car. so he was mad.alright, so we did it again and i waited for his break even though we had a flag man. so the second time i had slight tire shake but was able to beat him by a car and a half. and like the first time i missed third.

-I havent raced in a year and this is my second car. My fiebre left the first time after my crash. soonce again i have to get my skillz up racing. anyways i almost forgot to mention that my cars was bone stock wit still all three cats .If you dont believe me ask the only person who worked on my car <The JUDGE>

FC vs. Honda round three!!!

hopefully this weekend but he claims after he puts exhaust on his car it should give him at least 50 horses . only modification I did was go to Ito to put on my header

Car has alot more torque and alot more top end but I'm thinking of going single exhaust.maybe thats where I'll feel a bigger difference.NE ways I need some opinions? should I go single with a apexi N1 muffler or go with racing beat cat backs?

-hopefully I'll get this done by this weekend for the rematch! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Go with the RB Catback. Header +N1 = uberloud. It may be fun for a while, but that loud of a car will get annoying. Very annoying.

I think you mean RB header , RB presilencer, N1 cat back. I have owned one of these set ups and it does cost a little. I got many complements on the sound that system made. It was actually rather quiet until over 4k or so.

Going flat out under a bridge it sounded much like an indy car. Mine was an 86 N/A with a street port, 11lb flywheel, 89+ uim and 550 secondaries.

The car would keep up with a slightly modded Eclipse GST, thats a turbo one. I never took it to the strip or a dyno but you can ask most the SCrx7 club how fast it was.

Tessai 03-25-2005 02:43 PM

^^ Aye, presilencer makes a difference.

My car is, currently, minimally modded. I've got a header I bought from a forum member that he had made himself, to a resonator off of a TII, to a Y pipe and 2 Ebay N1 Knockoffs. This is how I know how annoyingly loud it can be. I've considered taking everything off and just going back to stock parts. I don't have the funds for an RB system.
