on the way home from skool this morning i pull up to a red light and there is a white GSX right next to me. light turns green and we both take off slow. i thought he didnt wanna race so i punch it just to make some noise, and he follows. we turn off to a 2 lane road, and we are both rolling, im about 5-6k rpms in 1st we take off, then we see oncoming traffic flashing their headlights. There was a speed trap up ahead. we just cruise past it then turn to another road and i tell him i still wanna run. again we are right next to each other now im about 6-6.5k rpms and we punch it at the same time. Shifting to second, i got a nice jump and his front bumper was right in back of my rear bumper, shifting to 3rd he caught a little ground and his front bumper was about where my rear wheel is, after that i started pulling again and he stayed right behind my bumper. i let go round 100-110mph. He told me he was boosting 12psi and thats it. i told him what i had and he looked surprised...Not bad for my N/A...>=)

 

was that supposed to be his excuse.hehe

my friend has a 93 TSI with TD05SH full exhaust, 1bar of boost. that car was moving. nothing like AWD launches it was no match for my FD but still very fast capable car. it was very fun to drive although you can feel the heft while driving.

 

yea my friend had a TSI also, but he blew it. that thing launched HARD as ****. Too bad he blew 2 trannies and his transaxle 3 times.

 

my friend blew the engine once. hasn't blown the tranny yet. probably because he is running the stock clutch...

 

yea my boy had a 6puck bronze. rip all 4 tires launching it hard..
