You guys just have to see this.

How fast do you think the driver must have been going for something like that to happen?

Wow

I agree with you 100%. I am one of those people who likes to test the limit of things and I know that if I got a bike, I would want to see how fast I could get it to go as with a car. At least with a car you are enclosed in something. People told me I would never get my 95 Eclipse GST up to 150mph. I went 162mph just to prove them wrong. I would really hate to see what I would do with a bike!

If I ever do get a bike, it will probably be a T-Rex. I drove one of those a few years ago and they are just amazing!

Wow, that donorcycle rider punched a hole through the back of that semi with his face! What a way to go. I'll never buy one of those things.

Wow. The ignorance here is amazing.

There is nothing wrong with motorcycles, or riders.

If you are all afraid you will end up like the guy in the link, then you are all as stupid as him.

I have owned motorcycles for 15yrs (all sportbikes) and to this day have NEVER been in a wreck of any kind. Safe and steady.

You cant say that a bike is safer than a car, can you????

Accidents happen to people everyday doing normal things & stupid things and many times its not the bikers fault but he still has to deal w/ being paralyzed or even worse dead. I am afraid because of dumb teenagers talking on their cell phones & 80+ y/o people driving that cant see 20 feet in front of them and should have had their licenses taken away 15 years ago.

You may have not been in any accidents, you are lucky. I have had 2 friends die because of moron people in cars not knowing how to drive and I was witness to one of them. This event is permanently burned into my mind and that is one of the reasons I dont own a bike. I have no doubt that I can ride a bike as I have driven quite a few. GSXR 1100 was one of them and that is an extremely powerful bike.

I live in Rhode Island which has been voted #1 in worst driving.

If I ever get any type of Motorcycle, it will be the T-Rex..

Also, just found out from another forum that I am on some info on the driver from a friend of his.

his name was Brandon White. the accident happened within 2 weeks of him getting that bike. he had totaled the bike he had before that

the saddest thing about the wreck was the day before, on his myspace his family was saying they were scared for him having the bike, and please get rid of it....his response was don't worry about me, i'm superman. nothing will happen.

This guy had it coming and pretty much sealed his own fate.

Anything ignorant about my post??? Please make sure to let me know.

I've owned streetbikes since I was 18 and in some cases it was my only transportation. Thank god i was never in any accidents, but accidents are just that, accidental. They would call them intentionals if they weren't.

I wore full gear in all weather and I prolly drove safely 85% of the time After moving to Florida and seeing a cycle fatality EVERYDAY I decided I didn't have enough faith in the florida fuckstick idiotass drivers and sold my bike. I do miss it on some occasions, but as I age or as anyone ages your reflexes change and you'll prolly never notice it as it's too gradual, I didn't want to find out the hard way.

Not to mention I have found other things I find far more exciting and theraputic.

Yes you can die doing anything and as with any of those activities you have to asses the risk to enjoyment ratio and decide if it's worth it. there was a time in my life it was, now it's not.

BTW, the guy wrecked my bike within 2 weeks of buying it, broke my heart.

Yes Josh. Whats wrong is that people say they will never own a motorcycle because they are retarded and would do the same thing, implying that they would ride in the same retarded manner.

Peace
