Well, earlier last night (before my little boost problem started), I'm driving north on US1 from the local mall and a guy with a Corvette gets next to me. He looks at me and says "Hey! Nice car. I always wanted one. Is it fast?" So I tell him "Yea it's not too shabby." And he answered back "Oh yea? Let's see..." So we get to a light and I'm thinking "Nice... Finally going up against something that has some decent speed."



Adrenaline's pumping...



Light turns green and we punch it. He jumps to about a car length on me but when my second turbo kicked in it was all over... I start walking him. Second gear and I break it loose. I catch traction and continue to walk him until I'm a few lengths ahead.



He catches up and says "Wow man that's crazy. When you shifted second you shot a crazy flame out of the back! You have nitrous?" "Nope, no spray..." "Good stuff man." "Alright take it easy."



And that was that. Both went home happy and I was proud of the FD. Then it went and had to be ghey and only boost 2 pounds.

 

Nice kill. I take it this wasn't one of the new ones??

 

It was relatively new, probably a 2003 non Z-06. Wasn't one of the snazzy third gen wanna be looking 2004's though.

Definitely a good kill.. 'vettes and other modern muscle are the only thing out there justifying using that much gas
