[quote name='rowtareh' date='Jul 7 2005, 03:13 PM']you do have a point about the racetrack, but c'mon, a turbo is so much more fun in a rotary. these are not v8 engines. you can make only so much power out of a bridgeport.

last time i checked you havent owned either of these, so if you dont have personal experice it would be good to keep quiet, because you make yourself look like an ass https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif

glad to see someone is taking a different route than just throwing a turbo at it.

ive just decided to go with a proven, vintage setup.

my engine is too low mielage and strong to just pull and swap out.

it would be a waste of a good engine, as well as the fact, i can daily drive a carb'd gsl-se without the worry of turbo maintnence.

just looking for a good bit of bolt on power with room to improve, when the engine pops, im just going to BP it and keep the carb setup.

Yeah, from what I hear DD'ing a NA is much easier in a rotary. I can't say I've experience that since I haven't tried doing that with my FD and the RX-8 is still fairly new.
